This detailed and informative class will cover the history of movies made in Albuquerque from the silent area to present day. The class will include at least two feature films and several rarely seen short films, including one from 1912, shot in part at the old Alvarado Hotel. Film choices will include the first known film show in Duke City, a film that might predate that work, but proof that it was shot in Albuquerque is still elusive.
