« back to classes page
Today, because of the current divisiveness in America, too many friends and family members are no longer speaking to each other. This is not a new phenomenon. The class will examine what caused the fracturing (and a later reconciliation) of a relationship of four men who all became President of the United States. We will examine if major issues that divided John Adams and Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft are still with us today.
