Filmmaking is not just Directing and Camerawork.
Producing - how to set up and run a production - is the basis that makes the creative process of filmmaking happen. Scheduling, Budgeting, Logistics, Rights clearances, HR and exceptional management skills need to come together to make your film project a reality. This course is an introduction to producing a movie project. After an overview we will highlight individual case studies of successful productions. You look behind the scenes of how the filmmakers made these projects happen. Students also work on real world schedules, budgets and have first hand experience of what it takes to produce a movie. The skills you acquire can be directly applied to your next film or video project.
