The real Paul McCartney died in a tragic car crash on September 11,1966, at the age of 24. The Beatles manager Brian Epstein went into a panic and hired the MI6 (British secret service) to help with a fast coverup. An unknown English studio musician/Paul impersonator named Billy Sheperd was quickly hired to replace Paul. He underwent numerous surgeries and injections to look like Paul and keep the Beatles going financially and globally. Billy was introduced to the world on The Sgt. Peppers album as Billy Shears (nobody seemed to notice a change). They were all sworn to a code of silence, but things were never the same for the Beatles. Billy Sheperd has been known as "Paul McCartney" for the last 50 years.
