« back to classes page

Chinese Knot Making is a decorative and practical art that began 10,000 years ago in China to track events before written words were invented. Different knots have different powers: remove evil, bring good luck, wealth, success in undertakings, protection, peace, long lasting marriage and love, etc. You will study how to make earrings, necklaces, buttons, bracelets, coasters, and other decorations with Chinese knots. Please join us in creatively making useful and beautiful products as we are immersed in the deep and vast Chinese culture and find happiness. A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
