« back to classes page
John Steinbeck holds an esteemed position in American literature for his masterpiece, "The Grapes of Wrath" and as winner of The Nobel Prize. His short stories and novellas, although lesser known, are also powerfully crafted and complement his overarching realistic and regional themes and vision. In that spirit, this course will focus on "The Long Valley," "The Red Pony," and "Of Mice and Men."
