This class offers a brief introduction to meditation for beginners and for those wishing to explore different types of mediation practices. It will cover four different meditation styles – guided, seed thought, mindfulness and contemplation – with time allowed to practice each one. There are many benefits to meditation and no one style of practice is right for everyone. These four styles are just the beginning. Since contemplation is usually of an object, please bring something to focus on. A candle (unlighted), a crystal or rock, a small statue or picture or anything similar is fine.
