ID : 83950
« back to classes page
Have you ever really been thirsty for a drink of water!  Did you ever take water for granted?  The earth truly is a water planet, and all living things are dependent on this miraculous substance which results from the combination of two gaseous elements.  This discussion will cover some actual incidents on land and sea, where finding drinkable water was paramount to survival.  Among the events covered will be: the crew of the airplane “Lady Be Good”, the sinking of the “U.S.S. Indianapolis”, the incredible survival tale of Louie Zamperini and other related events.  NOTE: Each member of the audience is requested to bring a small bottle of water with them, for demonstration purposes.
