« back to classes page

Take a look backstage at the Santa Fe Opera! We will visit all of the maker workshops where the props, the costumes, the wigs, the shoes, and all other support items are made for each opera.  The setting props for the operas can be small, hand-held objects, furniture, or very large structures of multiple levels such as towns, towers, mountains, rivers and large, yes, the wide sea!  We can see them all under construction. We will spend our lunch time at the Santa Fe Plaza.  After lunch, we will have an overview lecture of the Operas for 2018.  We will return to Albuquerque only when we have satisfied our desire for Opera, Art, good food and wonderful company. Lunch on your own. Price includes lecture, tour and transportation.
