« back to classes page

As we age, we all notice changes in our ability to do our daily routines that now require effort to perform. What is happening? Is it “normal”? Will I lose my independence, as these “issues” may or may not develop? We’ll define “normal aging” and discuss the anatomy, how the system works in our bodies, and changes that may or not occur as we age. Following this conversation, we will point out common illnesses that affect how particular systems function. It is hoped that you will come with questions so that we can interact about these topics, the effect of aging, and discuss if there is anything in our life style that can slow or delay the normal effects about aging.
