Before and during World War II, the Nazi ideology attracted international companies and influential public figures.  Many of these grew in wealth and prestige that continued after the war because of their alignment with Hitler’s views and policies.  Volkswagen probably comes to mind, but what of IBM, Coca-Cola, and Woolworths?  Henry Ford’s anti-Semitism was well-known and he was praised by Hitler, but what of Coco Chanel and Charles Lindbergh?  Were these Nazi collaborators – or was it just business as usual?
