Crochet: Beginning Part 2

(This class is a continuation from Crochet Beginning Part 1.)   Once you have mastered the basic stitches of crochet, you will learn how to combine them to create more stitches and to learn new techniques.  We will continue our study of reading patterns and diagrams, while we learn to work in rounds instead of rows, increasing and decreasing, spike stitches, fan and shell stitches, post stitches, bobble, puff, and popcorn stitches, changing colors and more.  Please bring a crochet hook H or larger and two colors of smooth, worsted-weight yarn.  Feel free to contact the instructor at stitch4fun@unm.edu if you have any questions.
