Are you new to crochet or knitting and wish you knew more about the different types and sizes of yarns that are available? In this lecture only class we will learn about how yarns are constructed and the different materials from which yarns can be made. We will learn how to read a yarn label, different coloring techniques and how yarns work up differently for crocheters and knitters. We will also study yarn terminology. You may send yarn questions in advance to the instructor at stitch4fun@unm.edu and please feel free to bring in any yarns you have questions about.
