Spend a reflective weekend putting pen to paper and tire-tread to dirt in this woman-focused mountain bike/journaling workshop. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the basics of Mountain Bike Riding and quick maintenance alternating with opportunities for quiet reflection in the forest or riparian areas of our base camp. Find yourself within a community of supportive and adventurous women and discover a new passion or cultivate a forgotten pastime. Spend your evenings catching up on sleep or joining the campfire for hot tea, laughs and great stories.
NOTE: Class Location: Cottonwood Gulch Base Camp located in the Zuni Mountains outside of Thoreau, New Mexico. The camp is rustic. Must be 21 yrs + to enroll. Tuition includes transportation, lodging and meals (sleeping bag and bike rental available). The group will leave from UNMCE on Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM and return Sunday afternoon at 4:00 PM.
NOTE: Eligible for Limited UNM Tuition Remission of $125.50. Not eligible are transportation, meals & non-educational activities.
