R. Philip Eaton, MD – former Chief of Endocrinology and is presently Vice President Emeritus of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. He specializes in the causes of atherosclerotic heart disease. His goal: to help educate the public on prevention of heart disease. He works closely with the New Mexico legislature to pass legislation to reduce heart disease in New Mexico.
