« back to classes page
Support to assist author in the production of adjunct zine booklets (as teaching materials and roadmaps), and PR materials for author’s book promotion utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator and page layout in InDesign. As part of the promotion and volunteer teaching efforts, we will take author’s produced sketches, mono color block prints, and Illustrator created images to produce stickers and final files as preparation for screen printing iconic art. Will also teach advanced Illustrator concepts such as auto trace and path manipulation to produce artistic effects.
Student has recent Illustrator and Photoshop classes and experience, so we will review specific basic skills to adapt toolsets in the three Creative Suite programs and methods to accomplish the tasks requested. Class will utilize Wacom tablet for drawing and to utilize pressure-sensitive pen to better utilize tools to produce advanced effects in the Creative Suite Programs. If time, will cover some mapping techniques in Adobe Illustrator.
