Become acquainted with the practice of mindfulness meditation as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn for his Stress Reduction Clinic at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Learn how this secular, scientific, evidence-based practice has become so widely accepted in medicine, and discover how it can positively affect the quality of your everyday life. This orientation is required for all MBSR class participants.
