ID : 86362
« back to classes page

Nineteenth century France brought us famed animal painter Rosa Bonheur. She dared to wear men’s clothing! Then we’ll move to 20th century Canada to study a west coast favorite, painter Emily Carr. Back in the United States, we’ll discuss 20th century Japanese-American sculptor Ruth Asawa, Abstract Expressionist painter Helen Frankenthaler, the angst-driven multi-media artist Eva Hesse, and quirky feminist photographer Judy Dater.
