« back to classes page
Explore the Zuni Mountains at a time of optimal bird activity, right before the summer heat sets in. Cottonwood Gulch's 540 acre nature preserve has been used by birders for many years and has a diverse ecosystem including cottonwoods, ponderosa forests, and pinyon juniper groves.  Additionally, our staff may utilize other nearby areas to find birding hotspots along creeks, mountains, and canyons in the Zuni Mountains!  See many different species with our expert ornithologist.

NOTE: Courses start at 2 PM on Friday and end at 5 PM on Sunday.  All transportation, meals, and lodging are included--sleeping bag rentals are available for an additional $15.
