Beadwork is an art form that is practiced in many Native American tribes, with each tribe often having particular colors, patterns, or techniques. Come and learn the basics of beadwork with a local expert in a beautiful rustic studio. Spend the weekend unplugged and experiencing a beautiful natural setting in the Zuni Mountains.

NOTE: Courses start at 2 PM on Friday and end at 5 PM on Sunday.  All transportation, meals, and lodging are included--sleeping bag rentals are available for an additional $15.

Please read:  There is no electricity in base camp cabins. The beds are a plywood platform with a 3 inch foam mattress on them. Sleeping bags may be rented for a small fee. Limited UNM Tuition Remission Eligible for $136.50 under Personal Enrichment.
