In the world of fitness, personal trainers are in high demand, with New Mexico employment growth projected to be over 25% until 2018. Prepare for your career as a personal trainer with this challenging six-week course which targets the knowledge, skills and abilities you'll need to become a personal trainer and prepare for the National Academy of Sports medicine (NASM) certification exam. Students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of class hours and pass the exam to receive NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certificate. Students must be 18 hears of age of older and have proof of a current CPR/AED certificate for the CPT certificate is issued. We also offer CPR/First Aid courses.
